In the Storm, You Are Still Loved

There are days when the thunder rolls louder inside us than outside. Irritability rises. Tears linger. And self-blame whispers a lie. You pray, but peace feels delayed. You try to change, yet the mood clings tighter.
God's love doesn’t flinch in the storm.
Romans 5:8 reminds us, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That means the cross wasn’t earned by your strength, your joy, or your good days. It was given freely—right in the middle of your mess. Your current mood doesn’t revoke that gift.
And Psalm 139:14 speaks truth when feelings falter: “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Not just on sunny days, but stormy ones too.
The storm may rage within, but the Son (Jesus Christ) still rises. Let this be the moment you choose gentleness toward yourself—not because you feel worthy, but because He calls you beloved.
