God in All Things
“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.” — Romans 11:36
When we look at the world around us, it’s easy to divide life into “sacred” and “ordinary.” Church is sacred. Prayer is sacred. Scripture is sacred. But technology? Social media? AI? The internet? Those feel like human inventions — noisy, flawed, sometimes misused.
Yet the truth is deeper: nothing exists apart from God’s sustaining presence. Every atom, every idea, every spark of creativity flows from the One who breathed life into humanity. We build because He first built. We imagine because He first imagined. We create because we were made in the image of a Creator.
Even in the digital spaces that feel chaotic or overwhelming, God has not stepped away. His goodness still flickers in acts of kindness, in shared encouragement, in creativity, in connection. Wherever good is found, God is near — because God is good all the time, and His goodness cannot be confined to a church building or a quiet moment of prayer.
The world may drift, forgetting who truly owns creation. But those who see God in all things carry a different kind of vision — a vision that recognizes His fingerprints everywhere, even in the places others overlook.
Today, pause and ask yourself: Where do I see God’s presence in the unexpected places? In my work? In my creativity? In my technology? In my conversations? In the quiet corners of my daily life?
He is already there. We only need eyes to see.
Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to Your presence in every part of my life. Help me recognize Your goodness in places I’ve overlooked. Teach me to see Your hand in creation, in technology, in people, and in the ordinary moments of my day. Let my heart stay anchored in You, even as the world changes around me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
