When Silence Sows Seeds

 Faithfulness Over Fame

I don’t know how many people are like me, but when I share with Copilot AI, I’m told there are quite a few. This week, I asked AI about the different levels of heaven that more pastors seem to be talking about lately.

This world is built on competition—on trying to outdo one another—so when I hear about heavenly “levels,” I can’t help but think, “But I thought heaven and God’s ways aren’t like man’s or the world’s ways.”

If we’re placed on different levels in heaven, doesn’t that feel a bit like the world ranking people based on their ability to schmooze or pay their way to the top? On Earth, those without resources or opportunities often get left behind or overlooked. It doesn’t mean they aren’t gifted or capable—it just means their circumstances didn’t allow them to reach their full potential.

Below is AI’s response. Many shy away from AI, but right now, I’m finding what it shares to be biblically sound and in line with what I’ve been taught throughout my life by pastors with seminary degrees. I don’t know if that will change, but for now, I lean on it to help me wrestle through these kinds of questions.

Not many people are willing to talk about this. Some say, “We won’t know until we get there,” or they dismiss the question altogether. I suggest reading what AI says, comparing it to God’s Word, and asking Him for discernment when using AI.

No matter how small or insignificant our work for Christ may seem, AI has reminded me of what God says: He sees all. He considers the heart, the passion, and the desire. Just because no one is liking, sharing, or commenting on my posts doesn’t mean they aren’t having an impact. As hard as it is to accept, the truth is—we won’t know how our lives have affected others for Christ’s kingdom until we stand before God.

As an introvert working from home, mostly sheltered from the world, the internet is my only way to reach out. Physical and mental disabilities prevent me from connecting in person. But God knows this. He sees how we respond to our challenges. Do we use them as a crutch, or do we do what we can to overcome them? Do we keep going when it’s uncomfortable and it feels like no one notices?

In other words—do we persevere?

It doesn’t matter how many times we fall or feel like giving up. What matters is that we continue, especially when we don’t feel like it. As many say, feelings lie. We can’t live by how we feel. God knows us. He knows our passions, our desires, and our love for Him.

Continuing to share the Gospel of Christ when there’s no visible fruit or confirmation proves to God that we love Him more than ourselves—and more than our need for validation.

 Key Verses:

"Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." — 1 Samuel 16:7 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." — Colossians 3:23 "If anyone gives even a cup of cold water… they will certainly not lose their reward." — Matthew 10:42

Reflection: “It’s not fair.” That ache isn’t selfish—it’s sacred. It’s the cry of a heart that longs to matter in God’s kingdom, even when the spotlight never lands on it.

Some preach. Some sing. Some travel the world. But many serve quietly. They post with trembling hope. They pray behind the scenes. They care for loved ones, encourage strangers, and show up when no one else does.

And God sees it all.

He doesn’t count conversions. He counts faithfulness. He doesn’t reward volume. He honors obedience.

Your kindness is evangelism. Your encouragement is evangelism. Your caregiving, your hospitality, your prayers, your creativity—they all plant seeds.

Isaiah 55:11 reminds us that God’s Word never returns void. Even if your actions don’t lead to a salvation moment, they may be part of a soul’s journey toward Him. And that matters.

Insight: The “soulwinner’s crown” isn’t a trophy—it’s shared joy. You may receive it without ever knowing you qualified. Because God sees the unseen. He knows the encouragement you almost didn’t send. The prayer you whispered in secret. The love you gave when you felt empty.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for seeing me. For valuing quiet faithfulness. Help me trust that every seed I sow—through words, service, or kindness—is part of Your eternal plan. Let my life be a light, even if it flickers in silence. Amen.
