God Has Always Been the Anchor
Some storms don’t come from life — they come from our own minds. Tonight, God reminded me that even when my thoughts feel wild and heavy, His presence hasn’t moved an inch. Scripture Proverbs 18:10 — “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Reflection There are moments when the mind becomes its own storm — when thoughts twist and turn until peace feels unreachable. In those moments, we may even cry out words we don’t mean, asking God to erase us or send us away. Yet even then, His mercy remains. He listens not to the despair in our words but to the longing beneath them — the quiet desire to be near Him again. Tonight, as I read through Proverbs, I remembered that longing.
