With the dawn of each day, He awakens anew, In the vibrant, verdant plants, His love shines through. From the tender shoots, to the towering trees, He breathes life into nature, with gentle ease. In the graceful flight of a bird, so free, God's spirit soars, in every winged spree. From the majestic eagle, to the humble dove, His divine touch, brings forth beauty and love. In the creatures that roam, both big and small, God's wisdom and grace, are present in them all. From the lion's roar, to the mouse's scurry, His hand guides their paths, with purpose and fury. But it is in the heart of man, that God truly resides, For in our thoughts and actions, His presence abides.   The story of Barabbas and Jesus has been on my mind. Not because of religion, but because of what it reveals about human nature.   In that moment, the crowd chose a man known for violence over a man known for healing. Not because they were monsters — but because fear, anger, and pressure can make us cheer for things that ultimately harm us.   I look around today and see a similar pattern. We often celebrate what’s loud instead of what’s good. We defend what’s destructive because it feels familiar. We overlook what brings life because it challenges us to change.   This isn’t about judging anyone. It’s simply a reminder that every day we’re choosing who and what we “release” into our lives — the things that pull us toward chaos, or the things that lead us toward hope.   Hope is still an option. There’s a lot in our world that feels loud, divided, and uncertain. Opinions fly, emotions flare, and the online world often magnifies the very things that drain our peace. But God has never asked His people to mirror the mood of the culture. He calls us to something quieter… deeper… steadier.   “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”   — Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)   Perfect peace doesn’t come from perfect circumstances.
